Playground of the gods

No, the lady on the left in the picture is not juggling a Frisbee - she is holding nothing less than the sun itself, which she presents with divine nonchalance. Is she trying to impress Apollo or is she simply preparing for the next round of the Olympic sun toss? We don't know.

A radiant motif, captured on the expansive playground of Olympus, where eternal beauty and untouchable lightness reign. However, this heavenly tableau is not taken from an ancient myth, but from my very earthly collection of motifs from the Herrenhausen Gardens in Hanover - where the gods are obviously enjoying their lunch break.

A sight so mythological that even Zeus would wonder when he authorized it. I wasn't inspired on Mount Parnassus, but in the Herrenhausen Gardens - where the gods like to get naked.
